God’s Word of the Day November 07 2022

1 Timothy 3:16

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory.

What a beautiful passage! The mystery of Godliness is beyond our comprehension. The Greek word for Godliness is Eusebia which means doing that which is well-pleasing to God. Our great God was manifested in the flesh. Jesus Christ is the Godliness in the flesh. He is the God incarnate. Jesus Christ was declared righteous by the Spirit. We see this in Matthew 3:16-17 and 17:5.

Jesus was seen by the angels at the time of His birth in the manger and then at the tomb where Jesus was buried and rose to life. Jesus himself came into this world to preach the Word/Gospel/Good News to the nations and today many have been chosen to follow Christ. What a privilege and what an honor to follow Jesus Christ! Once we were no people, once we were darkness and once we were sitting on a dung hill but the mercy and grace of God brought us near to Him from far away into His marvelous light. What a blessed joy it is for each one us to be called by the Father into His lavish and abundant glory of His Son and offer us the adoption into God’s family. Jesus Christ is the radiance and the glory of His Father.

Even though Christ was taken up in glory, His everlasting Gospel is proclaimed throughout the world by His children. The same Christ who was taken up in glory will return soon to snatch His Church from the earth. This is called the rapture of the saints. The question we need to ask is that are we prepared to meet our Lord Jesus in the mid-air? If there’s any doubt about this, please seek Jesus now, the Bible says believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved, you and your household. Please do not be carried away by the world’s teachings. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved. In Jesus name! Amen.

Maranatha!
