God’s Word of the Day December 21 2022

An Exuberant Declaration of Faith

Psalm 27:1

27 The Lord is my light and my salvation;
Whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the strength of my life;
Of whom shall I be afraid?

When we look at today’s world, we see darkness everywhere. All the newspaper and news channels carry news about murders, robberies, accidents, adultery and other acts of darkness. We see quarrels, divisions, jealousy, hatred, bitterness, etc. People filled with fear and worry. Who can dispel this darkness? Yes, Jesus came into this world to dispel darkness and bring light – John 1:9. It is God’s will to make the light of Jesus shine in our life.

We don’t need to be afraid of the dark when the Lord gives us light. We don’t need to fear the power of the enemies when we walk in the power of God’s Spirit. Though an army may encamp against me, my heart shall not fear, though war may rise against me, in this I will be confident – The Lord is my light, my salvation, my strength. Hallelujah.

Those who look at Jesus at all times and those who seek Him faithfully, studying and following God’s Word, HE gives His light to shine dispelling every darkness…

In Jesus precious name! Amen.

Maranatha!
