God’s Word of the Day December 25 2022

The Meaning of Christmas

Philippians 2:9-11

Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the Name which is above every name, that at the Name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the Glory of God the Father.

But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons – Gal. 4:4,5

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory – 1 Timothy 3:16

God was manifested in the flesh. This manifestation was in the person of Jesus Christ. The Scripture says about Jesus Christ, For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily – Col. 2:9. If you want to know what God is like take a look at Jesus Christ. In Him was displayed every perfection – wisdom, power, majesty, justice, mercy, grace and love, etc. For the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us – John 1:14.
Jesus said to His disciples, “You believe in God, believe also in Me” – John 14:1

Jesus said, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God” – John 3:16-21

Jesus said, “ He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.” – John 3:36

Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” – John 11:25-26

If we believe in what God made and what God said, then we will believe in the One whom God sent, Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ himself became the perfect sacrifice for our sins on the Cross of Calvary. HE came to save and deliver us from our sins.

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved – Rom. 10:9,10.

Repent from every evil way and Turn to the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Surrender all things to Jesus, Offer yourselves as living sacrifices, Be Faithful to the Lord – Worship the Lord in Truth and Spirit, Serve the Lord Jesus Christ and Exalt and Glorify His Name. Hallelujah!

Lord Jesus Christ Bless you all..

In Jesus precious name! Amen.

Maranatha!
