Lord Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father
John 14:6
6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
Many times when we try buy an item, as a smart shopper, we do a little bit of research. Not only do we compare the prices, but the quality of the product, durability of the product and so on. But when it comes to knowing God, we simply follow the tradition, or family history etc. Sometimes out of fear of family members we stick with what others are following.
That is the reason this world has so many religions. Because everyone thinks their own way. When Jesus Christ came into this world 2000 years ago, this is what happened. The Jews were following the Mosaic law and so they thought. Anyone that broke the law depending on the gravity of the law breaking, they would be punished. Sometimes even stoned them to death. Jesus called the Pharisees hypocrites. Because the Pharisees thought that by maintaining higher order or standards that they would go to heaven. Little did they know that the law did not get them to the Father.
Even today the Rabbi’s follow strict codes of the ceremonial laws but they have not allowed the teachings of Jesus to overcome the laws. Jesus said that He was the way, the Truth and the Life. And no one would come to the Father except through Him.
Anyone living in this world first has to find the correct way to God the Father. Because this world teaches us that there are many ways to God. Perhaps there are many ways finding god(s) with a lower ‘g’. The first step in itself is wrong. There are not many ways to God but there is only one way to God the Father. When one finds the correct way to God, then he has found the Truth. What is Truth, you might ask? Truth is to find the right way to God. Truth is defined as that which is consistent with the mind, will, character, glory, and being of God. Even more to the point: Truth is the self-expression of God. That is the biblical meaning of truth. Because the definition of truth flows from God, truth is theological.
John 8:32 says, “and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” Once you know the truth as Jesus said, the truth will set us free from this world. Because the world we live in has a different kind of spirit that leads everyone who follow, to death. Once we are freed from this world then we will find our way to the Father who is in heaven. There is no other way to see the Father other than through Jesus the Messiah, the Anointed One.
In Jesus precious name! Amen.
Maranatha!
