Living Before the World

Romans 12:2

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Today is December 31st, the last day before the year 2022 closes. Pretty soon we will enter into the New Year 2023. The question we need to ask is that what will we do for God for letting us into year 2023. Paul is reminding every believer not to be conformed to this world. Don’t be like the people of this world, but let God change the way you think. Then you will know how to do everything that is good and pleasing to Him.

God can change the way we think of Him if only we allow Him to do His work in us through His Son our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The patterns of this world drag us down and wage war against the soul. Let the New Year 2023’s resolution be not to conform with the patterns of this world. Every believer is on a serious mission to dwell with God in eternity. Let us thank God always for allowing us everyday to walk with Jesus Christ this year and into the future.
