Seeking the Word of God everday

Ephesians 4:14

¹⁴ that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting,

The Word of God clearly dictates that we are not to behave like the children. Because little children can easily be swayed by showing them something that is catchy. Children get distracted with little or no effort. A new toy is all they need. Similarly, the world we live in is filled with many attractions (toys) that wage war against our spirit. The internet is filled with million ways to find happiness. And so is religion. The Bible is clear when it says by trickery and by their craftiness in deceitful scheming men takeover feeble minded people. Even nations are not exempted from these types of schemes.

A stern warning for the believers is not to be like the little children but grow in Christ to maturity. In order to reach maturity, a believers life must be filled with meditating on the scriptures day and night and spending considerable time in prayer. Then the Holy Spirit will nurture us by opening our minds with the Word of God. He helps us to understand the Truth of God. If every believer continues this way then we are able to help others those who need a direction in their spiritual life.

Let’s all from this day dedicate in reading daily the Bible and spending time in prayer without ceasing. May our Lord Jesus Christ bless us all!
