Peace I leave with you

John 14:27

²⁷ Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you.

Man’s biggest problem in this world is not having the peace of mind. Many times man is on a quest to achieve things of this world in his life. When he is not able to achieve those things, he will lose sleep by thinking over and over. This causes the human body to become anxious and adversely affects the internal organs like heart and mind.

Although it seems like the world offers peace but it is not. The peace that the world offers eventually will lead to people dying without Christ. The peace offer that Christ is offering is not from this world. Because Lord Jesus Christ is not of this world. He came to the earth from heaven. His place is much higher than our minds can comprehend. The place where He is from is pure and no evil or corruption exists. When Jesus came from heaven, He brought His peace with Him. So, where Jesus is there is peace. The peace emanates from Him. If Jesus is in our heart, then there will be peace within us. The man who is searching for peace only needs to look to Jesus to receive the peace that surpasses all of our understanding.

In this world today there are many who mock Christ Jesus and are ashamed to call on His name. During Christ’s second coming, Jesus will not recognize those who mocked Him nor will He offer any kind of truce. But a severe judgment will fall on the Nations and individuals that disobeyed Him and His children. Now is the time to receive His peace. There’s a time approaching that peace will no longer exist. Before that happens God is allowing us all to repent and confess our sins to Him through His Son Jesus Christ.
