who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, ….

Speaking to the Jews, Jesus said in the Gospel of John chapter eight verse forty four: “Your father is the devil. You are his children, and you want to do what your father wants. He was a murderer from the beginning. He has never stood for the truth, because there’s no truth in him. Whenever that liar speaks, he speaks according to his own nature, because he’s a liar and the father of liars.” Jesus made a very clear and defined statement that the people He was addressing were the children of the devil. Why did He say that? For all the purposes of our understanding Jewish people are the most blessed people on the earth. Today if you were to ask a secular Jew why they are a blessed community perhaps he would not be able answer because they do not know the answer.

There are many prominent movie actors, top business men and you name it, they all are of Jewish origin. The reason they are blessed is because of the promise of God to Abraham approximately 4000 years ago. Our God is a God who keeps His promises. He never fails us. Many Jewish people deny the divinity of Jesus Christ. The reason they don’t believe is because of the devil. Satan and his followers have been deceiving the people of every continent and many of them have drifted away and believed in the lies of the devil. That is the reason Jesus said that all of these men were the children of the devil. The law was given to Moses to follow stringently without missing a beat. Instead of keeping the law, they misused the law to their own benefit. The priests themselves became the law of the land. They accepted bribes from the locals and allowed them to practice illegal selling of the animals and birds within the walls of the temple during Jesus time. The priests also allowed the money changers and the prostitutes to practice lawlessness.

There were many abominable and detestable things that these men did. God allowed men practicing these kind of things for centuries. If one can only understand the grace of God. The scripture says where sin abounded, grace abounded much more. These men exchanged the Lord’s truth for the lies of this world. It is no different today than it was 2000 years ago. Men burning with passion for men, women lusting after women, evil desires overtaking the will of men and women. Lord Jesus Christ pointed out that the originator of lies is Satan himself. He has his own resources from which he overpowers the weak minded and gullible men, women and children. When they fall for his lies, he takes them further to destroy them spiritually and physically. There are many places in the big cities and in the small towns, and in the big houses as well as small homes addicted to drugs. These men and women who are born into this world were not born accidentally but 100% by the will of the Father who is in heaven.

1 John 2:4 says, “He who says, “I know Him (God),” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.”

1 John 2:5 says, “But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.”

No man has the power to save someone or by themselves from their sins. Only God’s love for us and the grace of His Son Jesus Christ saves us from the impending wrath of God.

The fierce wrath of God is coming soon and all those who exchanged the truth for the lies will be in for a great reset. More next time.
