Romans 1:23

Paul describes in Romans chapter one verse 23, that the unrighteousness of men exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images that look like mortal humans: birds, animals and reptiles. According to some estimates, there are over 4,000 religions, faiths groups, and denominations that exist around the world today. Researchers and academics generally categorize the world’s religions into five major groups: Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, and Judaism. There is no need to prove which religion is the true religion. Of all the religions that are mentioned above only Christianity represents the true pathway to God the Father.

Jesus Christ is not some ordinary man or some kind of prophet or a wise man as some think. Many don’t even know who Christ is. He is the image of the invisible God. He is the God in flesh. No one is expected to see God and survive. For He is a Holy God. Christianity is based on the same God who created Adam out of the dust. Not only did He create the entire humanity but also the entire Universe. God has no end and no beginning. The God who created the earth is a triune God. Meaning God exists in three equally divine persons. Let me give you another analogy. The Trinity is like an egg. Just as ONE egg has THREE different parts – the shell, the white, the yoke – ONE God has THREE different Persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Similarly, we often hear the Trinity compared to an Apple. ONE apple has three different parts – the skin, the flesh, and the seed.

This is the foundation of Christianity. There are several passages in the Bible that describe the Trinity. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. The lineage or the genealogy of Lord Jesus Christ shows that through Adam, Seth, Shem, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Judah, Obed, Jesse and King David, our Lord Jesus Christ chose His genealogy to come into this world. God the Father chose Jesus Christ as the only way for the Jews or the gentiles to be saved. For He is the Messiah. Only Christ can offer us the free gift of salvation. All other religions who claim to be true have nothing to offer and are liars because there is no truth in them. The Bible says, that if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation irrespective of their nationality or tribe or tongue. Every person whether living or dead one day have to confess that Jesus is Lord to the glory of God the Father.

The one who distorts the truth of Lord Jesus Christ is a liar. You might see some of these religions are flourishing at the moment. It is okay. The show will end soon and the curtain will fall. The Bible declares to seek the Lord while He may be found. A time will come that men will no longer be able to find God how hard they search for Him.

Jesus said, “let not your heart be troubled you believe in God, believe also in Me.” A person has to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, that He is the way, the truth and the life and no man can come to the Father except through Him. More next time.
