Romans 3:23

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

The Bible is the only book in the world that deals with the sin problem. There is no other evidence that is presented in any other book or any other written form. So, how does one receive the glory of God? There is only one way that any person can receive the glory of God. That is through Jesus Christ. Christ is the only way to receive the glory of God. If anyone comes and says that there are several ways or other ways to receive the glory of God please do not believe them. The person who shows you another way to God, believe it or not, he is a liar. He has an agenda of leading you into a place that is very far away from the glory of God.

In order for a person to believe in God, first he needs to hear the Word of God. The Bible teaches that faith comes by hearing, by hearing the Word of God. When a person hears the Word of God through a messenger, that means it is God who is speaking through that messenger. The Word of God is so powerful, that a person listening to God’s Word for the first time is shaken and convicted. The world that we inhabit was created by God Himself. When He saw the earth that was void and formless, He shaped it and He established the earth and the waters. And when He said “let there be light” the light came into existence.

The reason every born again believer reaches out to other people is not because of fun or passing on the time. God has given His children a mandate to share the Good News with the world. Not only did God create the entire Universe but also wants to reconcile us with Him. Now why is that you might wonder? Because sin separates us from God. Our God is a holy and just God. In order for us to be with Him, we have to become holy. A simple analogy is that when a person wants to meet the king of a kingdom, the person intending to meet must first get a security clearance, then they have to state the purpose for the meeting, then the person has to select the type of clothing he is going to wear because he needs to present himself worthy to meet the king, the person cannot walk empty handed. Especially if one has an appointment with the king, they need to make sure they have something to offer that pleases the king. The guest has to ensure that he has enough rest the night before and when he converses with the king, needs to pay attention to every detail he is saying. In other words don’t be a loose mouth. In the same manner prepare to hear what the king is about to say.

The above analogy is similar to what a Christian needs to do to meet the Lord everyday. God’s Word declares that we are to meditate on His Word day and night with no break. If a Christian follows the above analogy, he is sure going to experience the glory of God there by avoiding the shortage of God’s glory. As I mentioned earlier only Jesus Christ can lead us to the Father of Glory. There is no other way.

May we give thanks to God the Father through Jesus Christ for enabling us to understand what it means to seek the glory of God.
