Romans 6:23

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The wages of sin is death. Why is this so critical for any person that is living on this earth? It is because every human being living currently, there is a mandate imposed by God Himself to recognize Him, for WHO He is and fear Him. When we look at the vast Universe that includes hundreds if not millions of galaxies that are beyond human comprehension they are the handiwork of God. No one put them by accident in the space nor they just showed up because of some gases exchanged or interfered thereby causing this huge cluster of galaxies. These galaxies are the work of God created and sustained by His glory. The reason why they exist and the purpose for which they were created man has no idea. Even a million years of man’s research would not scratch the surface of God’s wisdom.

As a matter of fact only a glimpse of earth has been revealed to man by God. God has an army of angels which is beyond human understanding.

Matthew 26:53

Or do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He will provide Me with more than twelve legions of angels?

In the above passage Lord Jesus Christ spoke to Apostle Peter after Christ was arrested in the garden of Gethsemane. One thing every reader of this blog needs to observe is that according to the Words of Jesus, God could have dispatched twelve legions of angels to protect His Son Jesus Christ. Did you know that one legion is equal to six thousand angels and at twelve legions equals to seventy two thousand angels. Just one angel has sufficient power to destroy the earth. Has it ever occurred to you that what would the seventy two thousand angels would be able to accomplish?

Such is the power of God. The angels who are in the presence of God are continuously gazing at the face of God.

Luke 12:8-9

“Also I say to you, whoever confesses Me before men, him the Son of Man also will confess before the angels of God.

But he who denies Me before men will be denied before the angels of God.“

Christ is speaking to us today through His Word that whoever acknowledges Him, him the Son of Man will also acknowledge before the angels of God. Once a person dies there is no way that he will come back to life. Millions of people die and leave this world for good not knowing where they are heading to. They think that God doesn’t exist or they chose to follow man made religions. God provides the provisions in this world even for the sinners. When it rains it rains on the poor and as well as the rich. There’s no differentiation but when one dies that is where the choices that one makes while on the earth plays out. The one who never chose Jesus as his personal savior is lost and condemned for eternity. This is not a joke. It is so real. Hell is THERE for real. Heaven is THERE for real. Choose this day who you want to serve. Lord Jesus Christ or the devil. This message sounds like it is offensive to some people but in reality it is not. This is the truth of God. Man has only one life to live. By making the right choice today, you can be sure where you will be spending your eternity.

May we give thanks to God the Father through Jesus Christ for enabling us to understand what it means to earn the wages of sin and how to seek the free gift of God in Christ Jesus.
