1 Samuel 12:24

²⁴ Only fear the Lord, and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you.

What does it mean to fear the Lord? To fear the Lord means to obey God in all circumstances. No matter what kind of emotional and or psychological issues a person goes through should not affect our reverence for the Lord. Fearing the Lord also means honoring the Lord.

What does it mean to honor the Lord? It means that we have to honor God with the time He gives to each one of us. We have to honor God with the space He gives us. We have to honor God with the money He gives us. We have to honor God with the family He gives us. We have to honor God with the fellow believers He gives us to each one of us. The list goes on and on. We have to fear the Lord with the body each one of us has been given.

In today’s culture as we live in a fallen world, every believer in Christ is faced with the cancel culture. The Word of God is twisted by the world. Anything we say or do can be used against us. For example God assigns the biological gender of a child that is to be brought into this world. Every human being whether it is a boy or a girl is a God given sex at birth. One needs to be proud of their biological sex. But sadly many of them are unhappy today. They want to reassign to something that they don’t belong to. They think that by choosing the opposite sex things will get better. This onset of gender reassigning is not from God but is from the devil. The devil since the beginning is a liar and has been deceiving people of all ages ages past.

Everything that is not of God is a lie. Take a look at the religions of this world. None of the religions of this world have any basis to exist. The foundational truth that was involved in creating this world comes only from the Living God who created this vast Universe. He is the One who made the heavens and the earth. He created Adam and Eve. Not only did God make Adam and Eve but you and me He formed us in our mother’s womb. We were intricately fashioned by God. He knew us before we were formed. He knew us way before how we would look and what language we would speak. The Bible in the Gospel of Matthew chapter ten verse thirty, Jesus declared that the very hairs on our head numbered are known to God.

God knows our frame. He knows our origin and He knows where we end up in life. God is Spirit and we have to worship Him in spirit and truth. The truth originates from God alone. The rest of all lower case g’s are fraudulent and are here to deflect the truth. If any person is still alive let him seek the Living God. He alone can set us free from the lies of this world. Seek Him. Don’t let your pride come before God. As the world is celebrating pride this month, do not be carried by these temporal activities. See God through His Son Lord Jesus Christ. Tell Him that you have wasted the precious time that the Lord has given to you. Seek the Lord’s forgiveness and repent of your sins. Invite Christ into your heart and receive the new life that Christ has reserved for you.

May we all give thanks to God the Father through Jesus Christ for setting us free and giving us the eternal life.
