but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ.

There are so many denominations in this world who proclaim to be true Christians. The Word of God says that anyone distorting the gospel of Jesus Christ perverts the gospel of Jesus. Currently there are many religious zealots who think that they know better than Jesus Christ. Take for example the Roman Catholic Church. They claim to be the true Universal Church. They have no clue as to how they have reached to that conclusion.

They base their faith on Mary and not on Jesus. They have no understanding of who the Son of God is. They have picked up Bible verses from here and there and have come up with a cocktail of new doctrines.

A person is said to be fully initiated in the Catholic Church when he/she has received the three sacraments of Christian initiation, Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist. This is achieved through a process of preparation.

The usual practice is that a family will bring the baby to the Church for baptism. From that moment the baby is already Catholic the child later enters religious formation and celebrates confirmation and communion where the child deepens his/her faith.

An adult or child of catechetical age who is not baptized enters the Christian Initiation process and through a process of liturgy, catechesis, and formation is prepared to celebrate the three sacraments of Initiation.

There are also others who have been validly baptized in different Christian denominations that are accepted in the Catholic Church by making a profession of faith at a mass to be formally received in the Church. After this followed immediately by confirmation and the Eucharist.

For adults and children who have reached the age of reason, entry into the Church is governed by the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults.

The above process is laughable. Never does the RC church mentions about receiving the free gift of salvation. They simply believe by receiving the three sacraments one can become a Catholic. That’s the reason you don’t hear Pope ever talking about Christ’s crucifixion. He never talks about Jesus Christ’s sacrificial death, burial and resurrection. In reality Pope never gives a sermon on how to become a born again Christian. They just don’t know how the old nature of man is replaced with the new nature of Jesus. In fact Catholics don’t understand the new birth experience at all. It means nothing to the Roman Catholics. To them Mary plays as a liaison between Jesus and the individual person. According to the RC’s Mary remained a virgin even though she had other children fathered by Joseph.

These people have taken the gospel of Christ and made it into their own gospel. They have introduced a bunch human ideas that were not written in the Bible and created a ritual called the Mass.

Galatians 1 verse 8 says:

⁸ But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed.

Let’s pray and hope that RC’s will abandon their false practices and follow only Christ and receive His free gift of salvation from God.

There’s only one gospel of Christ. Every person needs only Christ to be saved. No amount of self crossing will be able to save any person from going to hell. Sorry for being harsh. But for ages the Pope and his associates have been misleading innocent people.

May our Lord God Almighty open the eyes of these souls.
