What’s in a name?

Philippians 2:10

¹⁰ that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 

There are countless number of people of this world that are living according to their own choices. The world religions are organized by men who think they know everything. They try to overpower the weak willed people and force them to bow down to the gods that they have created. This just did not happen in the recent times. Adam, the first man created by God was allowed by God to freely chose between the good and the evil. Man instead chose the evil and consequently men began to walk far away from God to the point of no return. Not every one was a part of this. Some of the men were chosen by God to walk in righteousness. But the others walked away from God, ending up in an unknown territory.

When we cry out to God our Maker will not hear our cries because, we are far away by our own choices. If man deliberately left God, meaning knowingly when people leave the true God and go after a false gods or create a god according to their likeness then our Lord is not going to rescue that person. Here intentionality plays a big role. The religions of this world intentionally chose the wrong route to seek the false god(s). In doing so, the creators of the man made religions and the people who have believed in those religions have forgotten their true identity in God and therefore end up going to a place filled with nothing but darkness far away from the living God.

Today in this world many are coming up with ideas of lies after lies. Some of the recent lies are about the climate change. People who have no knowledge of who God and His creation is, have come out with false notions stating that man is the only person that can stop the climate change. Some of these are the members of Congress, a bunch of scientists and a bunch no knowledge individuals holding key positions in the government. Not to include a bunch of men and woman from different nations that have formed an alliance to come up with a set of nonsensical ideas to ban everything they think is affecting the climate change. Then there is the twenty year old Swede who thinks that she is the face of youth and the world. People like these who have never spent a minute in God’s presence think that they know more than God of this Universe.

Then there are people deceiving and deciding for themselves who they are going to be. If someone feels that being a man is not good, they think that they have the power to change into something that makes them happy. Going against the will of God who brought them into this world in the first place. To add to this perversion, some of the so called Godless churches have made the choice to accept perverted men and women as preachers of an entirely different gospel that has no connection with the God of the Bible nor any connection with Christ Jesus.

For this reason the Word of God warns that whatever is happening in the world right now is not going to last as the people of the world are thinking. Christ’s return is imminent. When He comes as the scripture says that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth. This is not a story from a fictional book. When Jesus Christ returns, the people who are ignoring Him will be in for a great shock of their life. They wouldn’t know what to do. It is going to be an inevitable circumstance for them. There will be no one to protect these people at that time. The Bible says, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved.

Now is the time to believe in Lord Jesus Christ. He is the only One and the only way to God the Father, who can save us from our sins. No other man made gods can protect anyone from the impending wrath that is coming on the entire world. You are warned.
