Hebrews 11:7
7 By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear,
The Word of God describes that faith is the evidence of things not seen. Faith is confidence in the trustworthiness of God. It is the conviction that what God says is true and that what He promises will come to pass. Now when we read from the book of Genesis chapter six verse five it says:
Genesis 6:5
Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
Here we see that God saw that man’s wickedness was great in the earth and that every imagination of man’s heart was only evil continually. In the beginning by faith we understand that the universe was created by the Word of God, so that what is seen was made from things that were not visible. What we see here is that by faith God created the Universe. That is the reason we read in Hebrews chapter twelve verse two that Jesus Himself is the author and finisher of our faith.
When we see today’s world it is no different than it was during Noah’s time. The children of God today are divinely warned of things not yet seen. Jesus mentioned this in the Gospel of John chapter fourteen verse two that;
John 14:2
In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
The above verse is hard to believe for normal people who have not received the free gift of salvation through Christ Jesus. But for those who are saved not only have they received this free gift of salvation, but also have received the gift of faith through Jesus Christ. It is because of this faith we are able to believe in the Words of Christ. Christ Jesus who was manifested in the flesh came into this world to prepare us just like He prepared Noah of the things not yet seen by Noah. But by faith Noah built the ark and when the time came for the flood, he and his family ware saved.
What about you? Do you have faith that you will be raptured before the beginning of the tribulation? Have you asked God to give you faith to believe in Him through Jesus Christ? Anyone who accepts Christ will not only be saved from the calamity that is coming soon on this world but will be divinely rescued from the wrath of God.
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved, you and your household.
In Jesus precious name! Amen.
Maranatha!
