1 Timothy 4:1

Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,

Some will depart from the faith. The word some is characteristic of 1 Timothy. What was a minority in this Epistle seems to have become the majority in 2 Timothy. The fact that these people depart or fall away from the faith does not mean that they were ever saved, but simply that they had professed to be Christians. They knew about the Lord Jesus Christ and had been told that He was the only Savior. They professed for a time to follow Him, but then they apostatized from the faith.

Not everyone who call themselves to be a Christian are Christians. In the scriptures, Jesus said, for a tree is known by its fruit.

Matthew 12:33

for a tree is known by its fruit.

For example an apple tree is known by the fruit it produces. Or a mango tree is known by the mangoes it produces. A tree is worthless if it is not producing the intending fruit for which it was grown. Similarly a Christian is not known by what race he or she belongs to, or to what nationality or by the language they speak. A Christian is known by the fruit he produces. If anyone is a Christian, irrespective of nationality or language, they have to produce the same kind of fruit. Producing the same fruit does not mean doing philanthropy or by some other means helping others. Yes. These are qualities are essential but the most important quality or the hallmark of a Christian, is by how he represents Jesus Christ .

As I mentioned several times in the past, there are many good people in this world doing great humanitarian work but by doing the works, they have failed to walk with Jesus Christ. If anyone claims to be a Christian and fails to give the first priority to Jesus, then he is not a Christian. Anyone who does not give the first place to Jesus in their lives they are not following the doctrine of Christ. Instead they are following something else that leads to the death of their souls. They do not understand the purpose for which they were brought into this world by the grace of God.

When the Catholics say that they believe in Jesus but also believe in Mary and other men and women who have been dead for sometime, they are not giving Christ the first place in their lives. Christ is not someone that can be shared with a bunch of dead human beings. Nor is He a little Baby in the arms of Mary. This is how the early drawings and paintings were depicted showing as if He is a helpless Baby. The painters failed to understand and undermined the authority of Christ. The purpose for which Christ was sent into this world is totally misunderstood and many people are mislead by the Papacy. Lord Jesus Christ is the image of the invisible God. No man has ever seen God and that is the reason Jesus Christ came down to earth from heaven as the Son of God and while He lived on this earth, He called Himself as the Son of Man humbling Himself. How dare is it for someone to share His glory along with Mary and other dead people? Anyone in human flesh like Mary and the other dead people can never become deities. That’s a fat lie.

Not only do the Catholics believe in human deities but also the Mormons, Jehovah’s Witnesses and the Seventh Day Adventists, and then there are other denominations like Orthodox Christians doing the same things by not understanding the divinity and supremacy of Christ Jesus. It is because of this reason when Jesus returns, He will judge the living and the dead. When it comes to the other world religions people have no idea who they are dealing against. Just because everyday there’s dawn and dusk does not mean it is going to be like this forever. One has to understand, that the God of Abraham, of Isaac and the God of Jacob is operating and making it happen everyday. It is not man for sure. Man has no power against His creator.

People who pretend to be Christians and follow after men are in for a rude awakening when they face the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Every person that dies has only two choices. He does not have a third choice. If he is saved by the blood of Jesus Christ, then he will be with Jesus Christ for eternity. The one who dies without Jesus Christ, will land in hell and be there forever with the Devil and his followers for sure.

Acts 16:31

³¹ So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved, you and your household.
