1 Samuel 2:30

³⁰ for those who honor Me I will honor, …..

Yesterday we saw that Biblically speaking there are only two kinds of people living in this world. One who honors God and the other who dishonors God. When we examine the history according to the Bible, we see that by the time Noah emerged, sin was out of proportion. The dishonoring acts committed by men was beyond comprehension. Genesis chapter six and verse five says this:

Genesis 6:5

⁵ Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 

God the Father saw that the wickedness of man was great in all the earth. What is the result of wickedness? Wickedness results in rejecting God thereby people becoming egocentric or self-centered. Another word for it is becoming narcissistic. Instead of focusing our attention towards God, men focused on themselves. When man forgets how he is brought into the world that God has created, different theories come into existence. This is the reason people like Darwin came up with the evolution theory. Darwin proposed that species can change over time, that new species come from pre-existing species, and that all species share a common ancestor. The common ancestor being an ape.

This man sowed a seed of discord among the world. Not only did he alienate himself from God but created a new theory. The history repeats itself time and time again. One man Adam, committed sin through which the whole humanity continues to suffer even today and beyond. As long as the human civilization continues, the sinning of man is going to continue. The question boils down to whether Adam dishonored God by breaking the commandment of God or not. The answer is YES. Anytime when a man dishonors God, that grieves God. Dishonoring God means disobeying God’s orders. How does one know if he is dishonoring God? It is simple. Anyone breaking God’s laws is in direct defiance of the love of God. No one has the right to reject the love of God.

God just simply did not randomly create man and place him on the earth that he created. No. God made the heavens and the earth in great detail. There are things that man cannot comprehend even in a million years time wise. Man is so gullible in nature. That is the reason Adam nodded his head and ate the fruit that Eve gave him to eat. The reason wickedness is so great is because man is easily fooled by the rulings of this world. The teachings of this world teaches man to reject God and to dishonor Him. The farther man goes away from God, the farther he goes to a point of no return. Far too many people think rejecting God makes their lives easier. Men living with men, women living with women, boys living as girls and vice versa, men living as women and vice versa are just a few things that dishonors God. Make no mistake that worshipping false gods and believing in the wrong religions also dishonors God.

Every person living on this planet has been given an opportunity to seek God and serve Him. Serving God results in honoring God. Don’t fall for the imitation gods or ideas or philosophies of the world or the new age movements. Everything that is man made will be destroyed by God. God’s origin is from above and man’s origin is from the dust of the earth. Learn to honor God and His commandments and save yourself from the coming wrath of God.
