The parable of the Wheat and the Tares
Matthew 13:42
42 and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
Seven times in the Bible, Lord Jesus Christ spoke that there will be gnashing of teeth. Jesus Christ declared that wailing or weeping was followed by gnashing of teeth the seven times that the Lord spoke. This is a no holds barred fact. In the above verse 42, Christ was speaking of end times. We all know that everything that exists in time has to end at some point. The children of God are warned beforehand. First Peter chapter four and verse seven says this:
1 Peter 4:7
7 But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers.
Apostle Peter is exhorting the believers to be serious and watchful in their prayers. Many believers are living like unbelievers in their daily activities. They do everything that an unbeliever does. Seriousness here means focused on Jesus Christ alone. Not turning to the left, or to the right or to the back. Only those will be allowed to enter into the kingdom of God. Those who have received the free gift of salvation from God has to guard it with all your heart, with all your mind and with all your strength.
The Bible declares that Lord Jesus Christ is the judge of the living and the dead. There’s no escape from His judgements. Seek the Lord Jesus Christ while He is found.
Let us not forget to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
Psalm 122:6
6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:
“May they prosper who love you.
Have you received the free gift of salvation through Christ Jesus? It is not too late. The Bible in Acts 16 verse 31 says this:
Acts 16:31
31 So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved, you and your household.
In Jesus precious name! Amen.
Maranatha!
