Psalm 100:3

³ Know that the Lord, He is God;
It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;

Perhaps many of you have heard the common phrase, ‘work hard and play hard’. This is the way most Americans live. Nothing wrong with that lifestyle. After all man has to work hard to put food on the table. Man also needs some time off enjoying with his family and friends. Man finds time to work hard and also finds time to play hard. When it comes to finding God, he has no time.

The above verse from Psalm 100 reminds every person living on this planet to know the Lord and that He is God. This verse is not limited to one particular group or a nation. It applies to everyone who is breathing. There are millions if not billions of people who don’t believe in the God who brought them in to this world. They completely ignore God’s commandments and live a life of total depravity. God’s grace and mercy is open to every person who believes in Him through His Son Lord Jesus Christ. The above verse continues to speak reminding each one of us that it is God who made us and not by ourselves.

This Thanksgiving season please get to know who your maker is. Do not let another day slip without knowing Lord Jesus Christ. Because it is He who made us. This is not a made up story. Believe in Christ Jesus and He will save you.

Those people who work hard and play hard will never get to know who Christ is. The phrase should be, ‘Pray hard and Preach hard’. Whatever we do for God matters the most. Our eternal life depends upon what we do for Lord Jesus Christ. Playing hard doesn’t get anyone into heaven. When you sit with your family and share a meal please Thank the living God for His love.

The Bible declares that Lord Jesus Christ is the judge of the living and the dead. The first advent Jesus came as the Son of Man. The second advent, Lord Jesus Christ will come as the avenger. He will return as the King of kings and the Lord of lords. There’s no escape from His judgements. Seek the Lord Jesus Christ while He is found.

Let us not forget to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

Psalm 122:6

⁶ Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:
“May they prosper who love you.

Have you received the free gift of salvation through Christ Jesus? It is not too late. The Bible in Acts 16 verse 31 says this:

Acts 16:31

³¹ So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved, you and your household.
