Psalm 100:5

Mary in her song mentions God’s mercy on those who fear Him from generation to generation. Mary perhaps knew something that others did not grasp during her time. Let me take you to the passage that Mary sang about:

The key to experience God’s mercy is by first fearing Him. Here the term fear is not running away from God scared. This is not what it means. Fearing God means to revere Him with the highest order. One has to consider God as worthy of honor. God should not be the number two in our life. He should be the number one priority in everything. Mary’s song in verse 50 is that those who fear God, His mercy shall be on them.

What we are seeing in this world today is that there is no fear of God. There are more people living in the world today who lack the understanding of telling the difference between doing the right thing and doing the wrong thing. When the people of this world begin to compromise with the immoral values of the society then the end result is a total confusion. A man thinks that he is a woman and vice versa. This leads to a total depravity of the human soul.

When Mary sang the song that God’s mercy is on those who fear Him, she understood what it meant to fear God. That is the reason God chose her to bring His Son Lord Jesus Christ into this world. Those who fear God, God allows them to become His children. A divine transaction takes place when we fear God. He allows His Son to be born in us.

Our eternal life depends upon what we do for Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible declares that Lord Jesus Christ is the judge of the living and the dead. The first advent Jesus came as the Son of Man. The second advent, Lord Jesus Christ will come as the avenger. He will return as the King of kings and the Lord of lords. There’s no escape from His judgements. Seek the Lord Jesus Christ while He is found.

Have you received the free gift of salvation through Christ Jesus? It is not too late. The Bible in Acts 16 verse 31 says this:

Acts 16:31

31 So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved, you and your household.

In Jesus precious name! Amen.

Maranatha!
