1 Peter 4:2

² that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.

For anyone to believe in God, first he or she must believe in the existence of God. One must understand that there is only One God who rules the heavens and the earth. Every living being from the past, present and the future was planned by God and He brought them into the world that He created according to His will. That is the reason people are born at different times and seasons and of course at different places. Man has no power in choosing the time period, or place of birth. He does not know to which family will he be born or the color, nationality, language and so on.

It is God who decides how and when one is born. Babies are not born by accident so that men and women can abort the babies whenever they feel like. This is not a woman’s right or a reproductive right of a woman. Man always followed his naked eye. He believes whatever he sees with his eyes. He does not understand whatever he cannot see that is the spiritual things of God. That is why the Bible calls the world as blind leading the blind.

Those who do not walk according to the will of God are like the blind people.

Matthew 15:14

¹⁴ Let them alone. They are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind leads the blind, both will fall into a ditch.”

Just because a country is prospering does not mean that the country is doing everything according to the will of God. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is a long suffering God. His patience is not like ours. Every one of His attributes are forever. That means God loves us to the end of our lives. He never gives up on us. As men and women we give up on God or never bother to listen to God. God’s will for all of us is that we should not perish but have everlasting life.

John 3:16

¹⁶ For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

As we have stepped into the New Year 2024, let us all believe in His Son Lord Jesus Christ so that those who believe in Him will receive eternal life. As we learn to begin to put our trust in God, He will allow His Spirit to work us how to obey and do the will of God the Father.
