God’s Word of the Day February 08 2024 Discernment

What role did Eve play in the fall of man? She played a major role in the fall of man. Eve failed to understand that she belonged to Adam in the first place. She did not bother to ask for Adam’s permission before she began her conversation with the serpent.

The Bible is clear that after marriage the husband leaves his father and mother and joins to his wife to become one flesh. That means Eve did not have any freedom to do according to her own will. Take for example, can your hand do anything that your mind doesn’t approve? When your hand does move by itself that it is called involuntary movement and is treated as a disorder. So, if Adam and Eve are one flesh, it means that Eve was a part of Adam. So, Eve has no say in anything.

Similarly, when a born again Christian believer receives Lord Jesus Christ, he becomes a part of Jesus Christ. The moment he becomes one in Christ, he no longer is free to do anything he pleases. Instead, he will learn to seek God’s permission or God’s will before he does anything. This is so important for any believer to grasp this great truth. Many Christians have no idea about this great mystery. For this reason we leave our earthly father and mother and brother and sister and friends and become one in spirit with God. By becoming one in God, we forego every right that we had before. We are eternally separated from the world and our destination changes from earth bound to heaven bound.

Second Corinthians chapter six and verse fourteen St. Paul says this:

Who is an unbeliever? An unbeliever is a person who is influenced by the prince of the power of the air. In today’s world there are more people who believe in the lies of world than who believe in the existence of a super natural God.

God loves every one of us. There are no exceptions. But do you love God? Our eternity depends upon whether we love God or not. If anyone does not love His Son Lord Jesus Christ, then he or she will not inherit the kingdom of God.

In Jesus precious name! Amen.

Maranatha!
