Philippians 1:9

⁹ And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment,

Let us see how sin affects us. Eve’s sin is a more deliberately committed act. Whereas Adam’s sin is a more relational sin. Eve in the first place knew that God forbid eating the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Eve was a part of Adam’s flesh before God formed her as Eve. This is the reason in Genesis chapter two and verse twenty four says they both became one flesh. Becoming one flesh means there’s no chance of separation. What Adam knows Eve also knows. So, the chance of her being ignorant of God’s order does not justify for committing sin.

The idea of becoming one flesh is physical and as well as spiritual. The idea of living independently is today’s trend. It was never God’s intention for man to live alone. Ever since Eve listened to the serpent women began to follow in her footsteps. It is called the women empowerment also called as feminism. Today we see woman leaders everywhere. Women preachers everywhere. They think that it is okay to preach to men. Little do they understand the grave sin of Eve. How she engaged herself in a conversation with the Satan.

When God cursed the woman, He punished the woman with more pain in childbearing and with subjection to her husband. You see Apostle Paul compares the wife with the Church. The husband he compares it with Lord Jesus Christ. Comparing the two curses of Adam/man and Eve/woman, the woman’s curse is more painful. Today’s women want to express freedom. They want to live independently, not have any children and rule over men. This sounds like a great concept but in reality this is the most wicked idea conceived by the Devil.

John 3:16

¹⁶ For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

God loves every one of us. There are no exceptions. But do you love God? Our eternity depends upon whether we love God or not. If anyone does not love His Son Lord Jesus Christ, then he or she will not inherit the kingdom of God.
