2 Timothy 3:1

3 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:

Apostle Paul wrote this Epistle to Timothy perhaps in 67AD or 68AD. Even then Paul warned Timothy about the last days. We also see this same warning written by Apostle Peter in:

1 Peter 4:7

⁷ But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers.

The last days began with the First Advent of our Lord Jesus Christ. He came to warn His children how these last days will look like. When Jesus Christ said this:

Matthew 4:17

¹⁷ From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

Jesus warned the people that last days have begun and that they all need to repent of their sins and seek the kingdom of God through Him. Since the first coming of Jesus to the second coming of Jesus there’s a little window of opportunity given to each one us to repent and to seek Lord Jesus Christ. Each generation is approximately 30 years, and in the last 2,300 years there have been 76 generations that have gone through these last days. One might say that this is a long time but in the sight of God, a day is like a thousand years.

2 Peter 3:8

⁸ But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Our God is a God of patience and long suffering. The people during the time of Jesus have been warned of the impending end times. So does the people of the present time. The people who did not believe our Lord Jesus Christ back then and up until now are the people who will end up in a place exclusively prepared for Satan and his followers called the Hell.

John 3:16

¹⁶ For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

God loves every one of us. There are no exceptions. But do you love God? Our eternity depends upon whether we love God or not. If anyone does not love His Son Lord Jesus Christ, then he or she will not inherit the kingdom of God.
