2 Timothy 3:1

3 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:

Apostle Paul goes on to say that evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. This is mentioned in:

2 Timothy 3:13

¹³ But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.

The word impostor means a cheater, or a deceiver, or a false preacher. One who pretends to know about a particular subject but in reality he does not know a thing. What we are seeing today is an influx of men who pretend to know just about everything under the sun. The Bible declares that these type of men who are impostors will grow worse and worse. They not only deceive others but also are deceived by their own fellow men.

What about the women you might wonder? Here’s Paul declaring this in:

2 Timothy 3:6

⁶ For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts,

These women are loaded with sins. Their desires never fade away. They go after man after man to quench their thirst for lust. These women develop a passion for evil desires. They are power hungry people with ego. What we are seeing today is a mix of men and women fulfilling their own lustful desires and pretending to do good for the benefit of their nation.

These men and women ultimately lead to the destruction of the society. Not only do they live a godless and immoral life, they want others to follow them. This is what happens in the last days. Every century had its own share of immoral people shaping their nation(s). The Bible says that the devil walks like a roaring lion looking for anyone he can devour. So are these men and women trying to prey on unsuspected subjects to lead them away from God. This is what happens in the last days, men, women and children will no longer want to put up with sound doctrine instead they choose their own path of destruction.

John 3:16

¹⁶ For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

God loves every one of us. There are no exceptions. But do you love God? Our eternity depends upon whether we love God or not. If anyone does not love His Son Lord Jesus Christ, then he or she will not inherit the kingdom of God.
