The Day of the LORD

Matthew 24:29-30

²⁹ “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. ³⁰ Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, ……

As we read the above passage the reader is made aware that the Son of Man will appear immediately after the tribulation. That means there will be a seven year tribulation period that the whole world will go through prior to the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. All those who are alive during this period will go through extraordinary and difficult times that the world has never experienced before. The tribulation period is designed for those who have rejected the Son of God time and time again. Many Pastors, and many who call themselves Christians and many Christian denominations will go through the tribulation. Their unbelief in the Word of God will lead them through this tribulation period.

In today’s world many religions follow their leaders teachings. The leaders who teach against the Word of God do not have the wisdom of God. People have been developing crazy ideas for centuries and have been implementing it on their communities. Not only do they fool themselves but fool others also. The tribulation will be a time with only one option that is to believe the Anti Christ. This antichrist will be a person who will rule with an iron fist. He takes over by using a false pretense of bringing peace to the whole world.

Even now as we speak there’s no peace in many parts of the world. There are endless wars that are going on in many places. Political wars, religious wars, wars to conquer the lands, famine wars, media wars, sexual wars, and family wars etcetera to name a few. The whole world is seeking the one ruler who will establish peace on earth.

John 14:6

⁶ Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

May the grace of Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.

What a mighty God is our Lord Jesus Christ! Praise Him!
