God’s Word of the Day June 16 2024 God The Father

God the Father is not the Father of some or many. He is the Father of the entire humanity. For He is the creator of us all. Today is Father’s Day. It is a precious day for every child. Because without their father, I mean the earthly father the child would not come into this world.

Throughout the ministry of Lord Jesus Christ, Jesus invoked His Father’s name for everything He did. Jesus showed us the importance of doing things according to the will of the heavenly Father. God expects every child to listen to their fathers and obey them. Many children are born as orphans. Some grow up in an adoption home and some grow in foster homes. Some children grow up bitterly hating their fathers. And some children fight with their parents and leave the house and end up on the streets and become a junkie. Because they hate their fathers and have nothing to do with them. In today’s world it has become more common that kids leave their parents home and struggle to live on their own.

The Bible teaches us that God the Father’s love is from everlasting to everlasting. God’s love is a sacrificial love. God’s love is an enduring love. As human beings we don’t understand why some parents abandon their children. But that should not give us any reason not to love God the Father. God the Father has given to each one of us an open invitation to be with Him for eternity. As children grow up they should allow maturity over emotions.

In the above verse God is openly declaring to every one of us to believe in Him. God even went so far to prove His love for us that He sent His only begotten Son to die for us on the cross. This is the ultimate sacrifice that God has done to show His love for us.

It is not that we are great or that we are smart but out of God the Father’s goodness and mercy that He lavishes upon us all the days of our lives. So, let us lay aside our feelings about our earthly fathers and begin reconciling today with our heavenly Father by declaring our love to Him. Lord Jesus Christ declared this in:

Once we experience the love of our heavenly Father, then we will understand why we should love our earthly fathers. Because our heavenly Father’s love is unconditional and so we will develop the same unconditional love towards others and especially towards our fathers.

May all the power and may all the glory belong to our God The Father, through His Son Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

What a mighty God is our Lord Jesus Christ! Praise Him!

In Jesus precious name! Amen.

Maranatha!
