The Day Of The Lord
The Day of the Lord will be very deadly. As the prophet Joel describes in chapter two and verse eleven:
Joel 2:11
11 The Lord gives voice before His army,
For His camp is very great;
For strong is the One who executes His word.
For the day of the Lord is great and very terrible;
Who can endure it?
In the above verse the One is our Lord Jesus Christ who is executing His God’s word. Isaiah the prophet declares this in:
Isaiah 13:9
9 Behold, the day of the Lord comes,
Cruel, with both wrath and fierce anger,
To lay the land desolate;
And He will destroy its sinners from it.
These verses serve as a warning to the people of this world. What we are seeing in this world currently is a mockery of God and His creation. Man has mastered to underestimate the power and the glory of the living God. We have learned to put God in a box and take Him out whenever we want. The sexual revolution is ruining the young and the old alike. The children are exposed to the woke ideologies and so are the adults.
Because of the mercies of our God, the world is still multiplying. The expression “what goes up must come down” means that something with a meteoric rise to power or fame will eventually experience a fall from grace. It’s a way of saying that parabolic growth is unsustainable, and sooner or later, everything comes back into balance. God has planned to reclaim His glory by setting a day called the Day of the Lord. On that everyone will see God in action.
May all the power and may all the glory belong to our God The Father, through His Son Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
John 14:6
6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
May the grace of Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.
What a mighty God is our Lord Jesus Christ! Praise Him!
In Jesus precious name! Amen.
Maranatha!
