2 Corinthians 1:20

²⁰ For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.

God’s promises are forever. The promise(s) of God is only applied to the born again believer. Only the born again believer knows how to glorify God through Lord Jesus Christ. Because he is guided by the Holy Spirit who teaches us how to glorify God.

The above verse clearly declares that all the promises of God in Christ Jesus are Yes. That means the promises of God will never apply to individuals who do not go through Jesus Christ.

God’s word is powerful. Only Lord Jesus Christ can unfold the love of the Father through Him. No one born of the dust has the power to force God to lavish His promises on them. It is simply impossible for God to bestow His promises without Christ.

Only the believers who follow Jesus Christ have been given the fulfillment of God’s promises in their lives.

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

What a mighty God is our Lord Jesus Christ! Praise Him!
