2 Corinthians 1:20

²⁰ For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.

For approximately 18 centuries after God made the promise to Abraham, God fulfilled them in Jesus Christ. Only in Jesus Christ God’s promise will be fulfilled. Because all authority in heaven, and on earth has been given to Jesus Christ by God. So, those believers who are in Jesus Christ are automatically entitled to the promises of God.

In Christ is the “Yes” to every one of the promises of God. Indeed, it is through Him that we say “Amen” to give glory to God. Amen means most assuredly or very truly that we give glory to God through His Son Jesus Christ.

Only the believers who follow Jesus Christ have been given the fulfillment of God’s promises in their lives.

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

What a mighty God is our Lord Jesus Christ! Praise Him!
