Bible Facts Of The Day, January 04, 2025 Not everyone who says to me

Matthew 7:21

Every believer saved by the grace of God must learn to obey the will of the Father who is in heaven. Saved by the grace means saved by Jesus Christ. The scriptures state that grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

These days many people profess to know Christ. Even some members claim to say that their leaders are in the direct lineage of Saint Peter. There are groups like Mormons, JW’s and other similar groups with a founder of that sect claiming to know Christ because of a vision. And then there are people who claim to be Christ’. These are the sects of people who create false claims and false doctrines.

They really do not know what it means to do the will of the Father. Doing the will of the Father means being obedient to his word, which is to believe in Jesus Christ and thus receive the free gift of eternal life. In order to know Christ, no one needs to read any book outside of the Bible. The Bible is the most self-sufficient book in the world. The Word of God is so perfectly laid out in the Bible for us to grasp and understand. When a person is saved, the Holy Spirit takes up the residence in his heart. His job is to open the scriptures and make us understand what it means.

The reason many do not understand the Word is because they do not give the proper reverence to the word written in it. For example when men or women get ready to go to work, they plan well in advance what to wear, what to carry and how to handle work related issues. But when it comes to doing the will of the Father, many of them don’t have the time. Attending Church once a week in itself is a great task. Spending time with the Holy Spirit becomes a chore rather then a fellowship moment. Doing the will of the Father means spending an extraordinary amount of time in the presence of the Father through Jesus Christ. Without Christ no one, I repeat no one can do the will of the Father. For this reason on that day Jesus will say to many people that He does not know them. How sad it would be on that day! Rejected by Christ the King would be the worst possible outcome. Because it will be for eternity.

Give Christ the first place in your heart today. If we give Him any other place, then we will be the losers of eternal life forever.

Maranatha! Come Lord Jesus!
