Bible Facts Of The Day, January 26, 2025 Repent!

Today we will examine how the Muslims practice repentance.

Yes, Muslims believe in sin as an act, but not as a state of being. They believe that God will judge people’s actions on the Day of Judgment, and punish those who have more sins than good deeds. Muslims believe that humans are born without sin and with a desire to please God. The concept of original sin is not part of Islamic doctrine. Islam has no need for the atonement of their sins.

If they don’t believe in the original sin, then they could consider themselves to be sinless. If a person considers himself to be sinless then that person could become a deity. Then there is no difference between that person and the LORD JESUS CHRIST. There’s no one on this earth who can be called sinless. Only Jesus Christ who came from the heaven was conceived supernaturally and born to a virgin, lived and died as a sinless Person.

Although Muslims do not believe in the original sin, they do believe that one can sin. Muslims repent by acknowledging their sins, asking for forgiveness, and resolving to never commit the sin again. Islam recognizes that everyone, including Muslims, is susceptible to sin.

In Matthew chapter four and verse seventeen, Lord Jesus Christ was preaching to all to repent. During His time, that region was filled with Arabs, Jews and Gentiles. Therefore Jesus spoke to everyone in the world to turn back from their ways, from their traditions, from their laws, from their self-reflections, from their religious books and teachings.

Lord Jesus Christ alone has the power to forgive any and all sins of man. Only Christ can set free from the dominion of darkness into His marvelous light.

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.

Maranatha! Come Lord Jesus!
