Bible Facts Of The Day, February 03, 2025 You are of more value

The greatest passage of all time is from the Gospel of John chapter three and verse sixteen.

John 3:16

16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

The meaning of the world here is described as the inhabitants of the world. Man is the only inhabitant who was given the free will to chose between good and evil. God loved the man that He created but due to his disobedience, he chose evil over the goodness of God. Little did man realize God’s everlasting love towards the man.

God willingly gave man another chance, another opportunity to reconcile with Him. This time He decided to send His Son Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to walk among us, the sinners and to teach us and to show us the way to His Father. Friends this is no ordinary matter. No man living on this planet can ever comprehend the love of the Father who is in heaven.

When a person enrolls in the Armed Forces, there’s a perquisite that is required. It means there’s a basic qualification there’s a basic qualification that is required. Once that person is cleared of the basic qualification, the person undergoes rigorous training to meet the demands of that position. It is not an easy task. Many apply for the job and only few are selected. Selection is just the first step.

Similarly, an unworthy person becomes a born again believer when he accepts Christ as his personal Savior. That is the first step. Many Christians think that it is sufficient to get into heaven. God wants them to know Him better. The only way one can know God is to fellowship with Him continuously giving thanks through His Son Jesus Christ.

It is a difficult task. Because we have to learn to dedicate our time to know who God is. In the world that we live, time plays an essential role. One can find time to do all the things of the world but when it comes to pleasing God, we are out of time.

This is the reason many Christians never grow in their spiritual walk with the Lord. Because they get carried away by the winds of this world. We need to understand the saving work of Jesus Christ on the cross. He died to prove that you are invaluable to God. He died so that whoever believes in Him, will not go to hell. He died to give us the eternal life. Life more abundantly.

John 10:10

I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.

Maranatha! Come Lord Jesus!
