LORD JESUS CHRIST

After Cain finds out that God accepted and respected Abel’s offering, instead of feeling sorry for his actions, Cain went out to the field where his brother was and killed him. Before Cain went out with a vengeance to kill Abel, God Himself intervened and spoke to Cain by saying, “(paraphrasing) believing in Me and doing what is acceptable and pleasing to Me, you will never be put to shame”.

Genesis 4:7

⁷ If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. 

Cain was over confident in his understanding of who God is. Ignoring the truth and believing in a false notion is nothing but being over confident. Did you know only a small number of people of this world believe in the Lord Jesus Christ? When people hear the name of Jesus, skepticism immediately kicks in. They go into defensive mode. People of this world will believe in anything other than Jesus Christ.

The Muslims state that their Prophet is greater than Jesus Christ. A Hindu believes in Mythology rather than believing the truth in Christ Jesus. Mythology is not considered a factual account of history, but it can be symbolic and metaphorical. Myths are stories that are based on tradition and can serve a profound purpose in culture. 

Nirvana is an enlightened state that Buddhists believe by following the Buddha’s teachings. Buddhists believe in reincarnation, karma, and the Four Noble Truths. Most of the Eastern religions believe in Karma. Karma is an ancient Indian concept that refers to the consequences of a person’s actions. It’s a central tenet of many world religions, including Hinduism, Buddhism, and Sikhism. 

Isaiah the Prophet wrote about this hundreds of years ago.

Isaiah 2:8

⁸ Their land is also full of idols;
They worship the work of their own hands,
That which their own fingers have made.

Someone traveling to Asia finds places filled with Pagodas and large scale idols of Buddha all over the place. God revealed the above verse to Isaiah. Do you think that God does not know all these matters of men? Yes. Indeed He knows it and allows it for a time such as this.

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.
