LORD JESUS CHRIST

Matthew 27:25

²⁵ And all the people answered and said, “His blood be on us and on our children.”

As we continue to understand the power of using the words as a born again Christian believer, one has to be extremely careful how we speak in our daily lives.

The Scriptures are full of words that are filled with truth. There is no other book that is as truthful as the Word of God, that is the Bible. The Words spoken by our Lord Jesus Christ are the words that will stand forever.

You see when a person accepts Jesus Christ by believing in his heart, he is instantly saved. God sends His Spirit into that person instantly. The transaction happens in the twinkling of an eye. The words does not have to be spoken out loudly or audibly but even the thoughts have an effect on us.

When a man and a woman are married under the authority of the Holy Spirit, all it takes for the man is to say, “I do” and the same for the woman to say, “I do”. Instantly they are united by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Some of us remember the great statement made by the President Ronald Reagan, “tear down that wall”. All it took was to speak out loudly by Reagan, and the Great Wall that was separating the two nations came down.

When Christ spoke to the devil in the wilderness, the Satan left Him.

Matthew 4:10

¹⁰ Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’ ”

Immediately the devil left Him. When we pray and ask God to help us in a certain matter, God hears our prayers. But many times we don’t hear His answers back, is because we lack faith in understanding that God is answering our prayers.

Jesus called out the dead for four days Lazarus out of the tomb and Lazarus came out alive. Proverbs chapter eighteen says this:

Proverbs 18:21

²¹ Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.

This is the reason there are many motivational speakers even though they are not Christians encourage positive living. Because positive living builds a healthy lifestyle. Although it does not allow a person to know God, it allows that person to live a less stressful life.

May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.
