Bible Facts Of The Day, April 20, 2025 WHO IS LORD JESUS CHRIST?

LORD JESUS CHRIST

2 Corinthians 7:10

You see Lord Jesus Christ died for the worldly sorrows of this world. Until a person comes to the knowledge of saving grace of Jesus Christ through faith, he or she has been encircled by the worldly sorrows. In the above verse we see that the worldly sorrow produces death.

Sin allows a person to live in despair. Many times we read in the newspapers or on the web that a person even though he worked hard could not meet the ends. The worldly sorrow catches up to him sooner or later and one day he decides to take his own life. Worldly sorrows bring frustration into a family because these sorrows kill the hope of getting better ever.

Lord Jesus Christ death was meant to show the world that the worldly sorrows does bring death. Christ Jesus took upon the worldly sorrows of the entire world meaning He took upon Himself the sins of the world and died for the entire humanity.

Did you know that every battle with a Godly sorrow produces victory? Are you battling your issues with Godly sorrow or are you battling your issues with the worldly sorrow? The answer is simple when we learn to battle our life struggles with Godly sorrow, there is the Salvation of the Lord. That means there is deliverance for any kind of problem that a Christian believer faces. No matter even if it is in the face of death, Christ will provide and comfort with His salvation.

Worldly sorrow on the other hand does not produce victory for there is no resurrection that comes with it. For sure death will be the result. That means it is a dead end road. Worldly sorrow leads to no freedom but to bondage and to slavery. One must remember that friendship with world is enmity with God.

Let us all celebrate this Easter, the resurrection of Lord Jesus Christ and bless Him for the victory, for He conquered the death. He died for our sins and overcame death. He took up our infirmities. The phrase “took our infirmities” has a twofold meaning: Jesus took them upon himself, experiencing the pain and suffering, and he also took them away, healing us. Because of Christ’s resurrection from the dead we too have been resurrected along with Christ. There’s hope for those who battle with Godly sorrows. Christ Jesus lives forever and ever more.

May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.

Maranatha! Come Lord Jesus!
