Romans 14:9

⁹ For to this end Christ died and rose and lived again, that He might be Lord of both the dead and the living.

Age old question: Those who have never heard of the Gospel, will Lord Jesus Christ still judge and punish them?

The answer may surprise the whole world. YES. Lord Jesus Christ will judge both the living and the dead for their rejection of Him and His Father, the Lord God YAHWEH.

Please allow me to present you with some facts:

I. The Indus Valley Civilization has a history of about 4000 years

• The Hindus were very smart people.
• They invented many things.
• Books have been written on Vedas
• Even architecturally they built the tallest structures
• They knew how to establish kingdoms and rule them
• Some of them were fierce warriors

II. The Chinese have a history similar to that of Hindus

• The Chinese were very smart people just as Hindus.
• They established the agriculture farming techniques
• They studied the weather patterns
• They also learned to rule and reign and fight

III. Slightly older than the above civilizations we read about are the Egyptians

• The Egyptians existed some 5000 years ago.
• They were also very smart people
• They established kingdoms and ruled and reigned
• They were also mighty warriors
• They were also famous for building the pyramids

IV. There’s an exhaustive list of civilizations that ruled the earth at different times when you Google it

• Mayan Civilization also began in1500 B.C.E.
• If one were to travel to South America to see the structures they built it is beyond man’s understanding.
• You will not find anything like that anywhere in the world

V. Each Civilization that existed in the past were very advanced for their ideas and their social reforms

• Why am I saying all these things?
• If we examine all these civilizations, one thing becomes quite clear
• They were all brilliant in developing so many things, inventing so many things.

VI. For thousands of years man has been learning and learning and gaining worldly knowledge

• Psalm 148:18, says this: The Lord is near to all who call upon Him,
  To all who call upon Him in truth.
• If man is able to find extraordinary things and analyze them, then man could also find God.
• You see, God never rejects anyone who wants to know more about Him.

VII. James 1:5 declares this: If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

• Wisdom only comes from God
• Peoples wisdom is folly
• Not a single dynasty, or a single kingdom throughout the world (excluding the nation of Israel) focused on finding the One and the only True God. This is the truth of the past and it is truth in the present.
