The phrase “I am the door of the sheep” is from John 10:7-9, where Jesus uses the metaphor of a shepherd and a sheepfold to describe His role as the only way to God. He is the gate, the only way into spiritual safety and salvation. Anyone who enters through Him will be saved and have abundant life.

Sheepfold and Shepherd: In the ancient world, sheepfolds often had only one entrance, and the shepherd would act as the gatekeeper, protecting the sheep from harm.

Dear heavenly Father, I believe in Jesus Christ who has come into this world to save me and to protect me from this evil world. Father, I believe that Jesus Christ is my Shepherd and my Gatekeeper. Father, I am willing to commit my life at the feet of Jesus at this moment. Father I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. For He is the only way to lead me to You Father. Father, use me for your glory for the rest of my time on this earth. Thank you for giving me the eternal life through Your Son Jesus Christ. In Jesus precious name I offer this prayer.
