JOHN 3:3

³ Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Jesus taught that unless a person is born again he cannot see the see the kingdom of God. You see a person cannot be born again just by being baptized in the water as Catholics believe. Any person who thinks just by getting immersed into water becomes a born again person is delusional.

The true meaning of being born again is receiving the new nature from God Himself through His Son Jesus Christ. Being born again is a gift from God alone. It means that the old life/nature must be surrendered at the feet of Christ. The person must believe that the sinful life he has been living until Jesus touched him has passed away and instantly he has been made into a new creation.

The old creation that is the fleshly thoughts and thinking and old sinful habits are dead. God no longer remembers our sins as He wipes them clean. The new nature that we receive is from Lord Jesus Christ. He sends His Holy Spirit into our hearts super naturally. Our heart now is under a new authority.

The Bible declares in Jeremiah 17:9,

⁹ “The heart is deceitful above all things,
And desperately wicked;
Who can know it?

Only God can mold and mend our heart. He is the One who has the authority to give us a new heart. No Pope, or no Bishop has the power to baptize someone and declare that the person is a born again person.

The people who believe in Mary or Joseph Smith or Ellen White believe in an entirely different kind of Jesus. Only a person who is truly saved by the shed blood of Jesus Christ from the cross experiences the new creation.

He who is truly born again will never mix Christ with anyone from this world. Jesus Christ plus nothing is eternal life.

May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.
