Genesis 1:1

1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 

In the beginning God …, as the verse begins, this is how our God unfolded His plan in bringing forth the Universe into existence. The Bible begins with this four words which are called the foundation of faith. In order for a believer to understand the written Word of God that is in the Bible, is to believe in these four words first. We have to believe in faith that God created the heavens and the earth. If we do not believe in God’s creation then we will remain a skeptic until our minds are changed and acknowledge that He is God. God’s power is limitless, His wisdom is beyond our comprehension, His love has no boundaries, His mercy is everlasting and His grace is endless. His dominion rules over all the heavens and the earth. Our God has no beginning and no end. He is infinite in every subject. The power and glory with which He sustains the Heavenly bodies is something for us to ponder.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Jesus Christ, and the Jesus Christ was with God, and the Jesus Christ was God.

Colossians 1:16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.

Let’s mediate today on who our God is. For He is the creator of heavens and the earth. Let us thank Him for placing us on this earth and giving us the opportunity to be used as a good seed. Let us rejoice in Jesus name! Amen.
