BIBLE FACTS OF THE DAY

Luke 24:44

⁴⁴ Then He said to them, “These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me.”

Many times we hear that a famous person has read the Bible and that they concluded that it is a great book. They will even go so far to say that the Bible teaches good moral values. But they fall short of claiming that it is the written word of God. Because they have never sought the help of Jesus Christ.

When it comes to the Bible, God is the Author of this book. When I say that God is the Author, I am implying that over forty writers wrote the sixty six books under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

A person has to accept Jesus Christ first as their Savior. Many hear the Gospel preached in the churches or these days through the Social Media Networks and or on the web and start believing in Jesus Christ. The moment a person accepts Christ, instantly the Holy Spirit enters into their hearts and takes up the residency.

As we hear and hear the word of God, we tend to develop faith. The Holy Spirit who is in the believer opens up the minds to help us understand what is written in the Scriptures.

From the beginning of this creation, it is God who created everything visible and invisible. God gives each person an opportunity to know Him. God is the heavy lifter here. Man does not have to labor to earn the salvation. God initiates His work in us. Then the man develops an interest wanting to know God either by reading the Bible, or by attending the Worship service(s) and so on. As he hears and hears, the Word of God becomes real in that person’s life. The Word of God begins to grow and develop a deeper understanding of God’s love and His sacrifice. To accomplish all of these qualities, a person has to fellowship with the Holy Spirit and allow him to mold him the way He sees the best.

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.
