BIBLE FACTS OF THE DAY

  • God’s Word of the Day September 17 2024 Be Strong

    September 17th, 2024

    Ephesians 6:10

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

The Spirit of the Lord speaks through His children. Here Paul is writing the Epistle to the Ephesian believers and encouraging them to be strong in the Lord. As believers in Christ we are to remain strong in Lord Jesus Christ. A believer should never give up in his daily walk with the Lord. The more we are in the Lord the more we will be strengthened in Him. Why? Because Christ’s unlimited power strengthens us as we grow spiritually from glory to glory.

As humans we are weak physically, mentally and emotionally. Sometimes a simple weather change can affect our bodies. There’s no medication in the world that can remedy the above mentioned problems. No amount of physical exercise or no amount of advice from a guru can fix our weaknesses.

Only when we learn to trust in Jesus Christ and walk with Him daily, then only we will be made stronger spiritually. If God is with us, who can be against us? As the Apostle Paul says in 2 Corinthians 12:10.

    2 Corinthians 12:10

10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

What a mighty God is our Lord Jesus Christ! Praise Him!

    In Jesus precious name! Amen.

    Maranatha!
