The Day of the LORD
We saw yesterday that the gospel of our Lord will be preached to all the nations and then the end will come. But what about those who do not accept even after hearing the gospel? Let us briefly look at:
2 Thessalonians 1:8
8 in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Apostle Paul goes on to say:
2 Thessalonians 1:9
9 These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,
Friends there is no escape from the wrath of God that is coming upon this whole world. Even now there is no exception for any person to ignore His Son Lord Jesus Christ for any reason or purpose.
The Day of the Lord does not come unless the falling away occurs first. The falling away begins with the man of sin or the son of perdition is revealed first. He is also called the antichrist. He exalts himself above all that is called God.
2 Thessalonians 2:4
4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
This antichrist takes the role of God in the temple and acts as though he is God.
May all the power and may all the glory belong to our God through His Son Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
John 14:6
6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
May the grace of Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.
What a mighty God is our Lord Jesus Christ! Praise Him!
