The Day of the LORD

The Words of Lord Jesus Christ are very clear. Immediately after the tribulation the Son of Man will appear in heaven. Continuing in verse thirty of Matthew chapter twenty four our Lord describes Himself as the One coming on the clouds of heaven with all power and great glory.

Matthew 24:30b

……… and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 

Why is our Lord Jesus Christ coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory you might wonder? He is coming to end the wickedness that has been prevailing since the time He ascended into heaven and even before that. There is only One Person that is able to put an end to the problem of human sin. He is the Lord Jesus Christ the risen Savior. Christ died once for all to set His children free from the bondage of sin and slavery. He died on the cross by allowing Himself to be crucified on a Roman cross. He allowed the Roman soldiers to drive the nails into His hands and into His feet. Each strike of the hammer caused the veins of the Immanuel to burst and the blood was gushed through His hands and His feet.

Our Lord Jesus Christ cried in agony and pain when He allowed His life to leave Him. Only God had the power to do this kind of act. The blood of our Lord paved its way into this world. Those who are touched by the blood of the Lamb that was crucified will be instantly justified and will continue to be sanctified until the time of glorification. May all the power and may all the glory belong to our God through His Son Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

John 14:6

⁶ Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

May the grace of Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.

What a mighty God is our Lord Jesus Christ! Praise Him!
