The Day of the LORD
The time that we are living in is called the Church age. The Church age began on the Day of the Pentecost. Pentecost means the fiftieth day from the Day of the Passover. This is the day when the Holy Spirit rested upon Peter and the rest of the disciples. It is mentioned in the Book of Acts chapter two.
Act 2:1-2
2 When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.
On this day three thousand souls were saved by the Holy Spirit. Since then the work of the Holy Spirit is to touch the sinners and convict them to realize that there is nothing they can do by themselves to save from the coming wrath of God. The Church age ends with the beginning of tribulation. The Church age also ends with the believers being raptured by the sudden appearance of our Lord Jesus Christ in the mid-air and at the sound of the trumpet of God and with a loud shout of the voice of the archangel, the dead in Christ will rise first followed by those who are alive will be caught up with Christ to be taken with Him.
John 14:6
6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
May the grace of Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.
What a mighty God is our Lord Jesus Christ! Praise Him!
In Jesus precious name! Amen.
Maranatha!
