Introduction

Many people say, “If God is real, why doesn’t He show Himself?”

The truth is — God has never been silent.
From the very beginning of time, God has been revealing Himself step by step.
He did not hide — He spoke.
He did not withdraw — He revealed.

The problem is not that God hasn’t spoken.
The problem is that many have not listened.

Today we will see five stages of God’s revelation — from creation to Christ.

1. God Revealed Himself Through Creation

Text: Genesis 1:1

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”

Before there was a Bible…
Before there was a prophet…
Before there was a nation…

There was creation.

The sun declares His power.
The stars declare His greatness.
Life declares His wisdom.

Creation is God’s first sermon.

Every sunrise says, “There is a Creator.”
Every breath says, “There is a Giver of life.”

Yet mankind ignored the message.

2. God Revealed Himself Through Judgment — The Flood

Text: Genesis 6–9

When sin filled the earth, God spoke through judgment.

The flood showed:

• God is holy
• God hates sin
• God judges wickedness
• God saves the faithful

While the world mocked, judgment came.

The flood was a warning:
God is not only love — He is also righteous.

3. God Revealed Himself Through a Man — Abraham

Text: Genesis 12:1–3

God chose one man and said:

“I will bless you… and through you all families of the earth shall be blessed.”

Through Abraham we see:

• God is personal
• God calls
• God promises
• God makes covenant

God moved from revealing Himself to the world…
to revealing Himself to a family.

From general revelation → to personal relationship.

4. God Revealed Himself Through the Law — Moses

Text: Exodus 20

At Mount Sinai, God gave the Law.

The Law showed:

• God’s holiness
• God’s standards
• Man’s sinfulness
• Man’s need for a Savior

The commandments were like a mirror.

They didn’t save — they exposed.

The Law says:
“You cannot save yourself.”

5. God Revealed Himself Fully Through His Son — Jesus Christ

Text: John 1:14

“The Word became flesh and dwelt among us.”

This is the greatest revelation.

Not clouds.
Not fire.
Not stone tablets.

But God in flesh.

Jesus did not just speak about God —
Jesus IS God revealed.

If you want to know:

• What God looks like → Look at Jesus
• How God loves → Look at Jesus
• How God forgives → Look at Jesus
• How God saves → Look at Jesus

On the cross, God spoke His loudest message:

“I love you.”

Application

God has revealed Himself:

Through creation → we see His power
Through the flood → we see His justice
Through Abraham → we see His promise
Through the Law → we see our sin
Through Christ → we see salvation

So the question is not:
“Has God spoken?”

The question is:
Have we responded?

Because greater revelation brings greater responsibility.

If people were accountable with only creation…
How much more accountable are we who know Christ?

Conclusion

Today God is still revealing Himself.

But now He speaks through His Son.

Don’t wait for another sign.
Don’t ask for another miracle.

God has already spoken clearly through Jesus.

Come to Him.
Trust Him.
Follow Him.

Because the greatest revelation deserves the greatest response.
