Psalm 97:3
3 A fire goes before Him,
And burns up His enemies round about.
Great sheets of fire sweep before Him, consuming those who do not know God and who do not obey the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Why should one believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and obey Him? The Bible declares according to:
Romans 3:10
10 As it is written:
“There is none righteous, no, not one;
There’s not a single person who is right in the sight of God. Since the time of Adam and up to the present time and beyond no one is born righteous. Everyone born is a sinner and therefore deserves the wrath of God. The Word of God declares this in the Book of Isaiah:
Currently there are many nations who have their own religion(s). Some of the nations have no religion like for example: Russia and China. Communism dominates those nations. Theoretically, ideologically, and historically—oppose God and all forms of religion. The Muslims dominate the Middle Eastern region. Most of the Asian nations either are Hindu dominant or Buddhist dominant nations. United States used to be a Christian dominant nation but lately many of them have given up their faith and are into other religions and into New Age movements.
Isaiah 40:15
15 Behold, the nations are as a drop in a bucket,
And are counted as the small dust on the scales;
God spoke in Isaiah chapter forty and in verse fifteen declared that the nations are as a drop in a bucket. It simply means that the nations are nothing to God. They don’t add any weight to the enormous galaxies of the Universe that He created. The earth looks like a spec of dust among the billions of galaxies. Imagine this, if the earth looks like a spec of dust, how much less does a man look when compared to the earth? If the nations are counted as dust on a scale, then what are human beings compared with? Because of the sinful nature of man, man thinks that he can challenge God and win with his foolish schemes. Did you know the dust on a scale does not move the needle of the scale even a nano ounce? So, what can man do to move God? NOTHING! NOT A THING. Man has no power to do anything unless it is given by God.
The freedom that man has is not his but God’s given gift. If God choses He can terminate the oxygen that we breath on this planet and every one of us are going die in a matter of seconds. Lord Jesus Christ’s mercy is everlasting and for this reason man is not consumed. That is the reason God allows man to live 90, 100+ years so that man can know how he was brought into the world that God created.
The nations of this world have foolishly created gods to suit their own desires. Let me give an example of the gods and goddesses of Ancient Egypt. These gods were an integral part of the people’s everyday lives. It is not surprising then that there were over 2,000 deities in the Egyptian pantheon. The Pharaohs believed that they were the gods and people worshipped them. That is the reason when a Pharaoh died, he was buried in the tomb fully embalmed thinking they would return to life some day.
Today we see that there are no more Pharaoh’s or the 2000 deities that the Egyptians worshipped. Similarly there were many Greek gods and Roman gods that the people worshipped. They no longer exist today. This is true with regards to the current day gods. The One and the only Immortal God is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel. He is the Messiah Lord Jesus Christ who came from heaven to deliver us from our sins. Every person who does not know Christ sins greatly. That means the person offends God, the Creator with every move he makes. Anyone who does not acknowledge Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, are eternally separated from the Love of the Father and the place that the Father offers that person in His Son’s heaven.

Acts 16:31
31 So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved, you and your household.
