Genesis 6:11
11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.
The above passage is from the Book of the beginnings. The Word says that the earth was corrupt before God. This was the state of affairs of the world before God brought the flood out on the world population. He chose Noah a perfect man in his generation because Noah walked with God.
Now, the most significant point during Noah’s time is that the earth was filled with violence. Did you know the Hebrew word for violence? It is called hamas. So, the Bible verse in Genesis 6:11 can be read as the earth was filled with hamas. In the last few days we have seen and heard the atrocious acts committed by the group called Hamas against Israel. They have invaded the nation of Israel without any kind of provocation and killed hundreds of men, women and children ruthlessly. Not only did they kill but captured and kidnapped hundreds of innocent men and women and children. After that thousands of men and women rallied all over the world in support of the Palestinian people and justified the gruesome murders carried out by the Hamas members.
God watching us from the heaven is seeing hamas everywhere just like He saw hamas during Noah’s time. What happens when there is hamas everywhere in the world? This means someone has to bring everything under control. That someone is God. Only God can bring everything under control. It is not just the war between Israel and Hamas but a total depravity of man in every nation. The world is filled with hamas. The cries of the righteous men and women those who are alive and the innocent blood of the men and women and the newborn and the unborn babies that have been murdered, are crying out to God. Our God is grieved greatly for all that is happening around Him.
You see during Noah’s time, God allowed for people to repent and He even allowed the door of the ark to be left open until the rain drops began to fall from heaven. God expected at least a few of them will have a change of heart and walk through that door. But all in all only eight people got into the ark and the rest of the world was a history. Noah and his wife, and his three sons along with their wives were the only eight people that were saved from the great flood.
Today, just like God chose Noah, He has chosen our Lord Jesus Christ to be the redeemer of our souls. Before the hamas gets out of control, the Lord will return and take His Church away. This event is called the Rapture of the Church. This event will be the fastest event in the history of the creation. It will happen in the twinkling of the eye. The door will be shut and the people who are left out will have to go through the hamas.
Let us not forget to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
Psalm 122:6
6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:
“May they prosper who love you.
Have you received the free gift of salvation through Christ Jesus? It is not too late. The Bible in Acts 16 verse 31 says this:
Acts 16:31
31 So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved, you and your household.
In Jesus precious name! Amen.
Maranatha!
