John 1:12

¹² But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:

One must receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. This means that there should be no one greater than Jesus Christ in their lives. No earthly father, or mother or brothers or sisters or any other possession that is greater than our Lord Jesus Christ. One must be willing to sacrifice everything they possess for the sake of Christ. Then only Christ Jesus will receive them and will give the right to become a child of God.

Indeed it is very difficult process to leave everything and follow Jesus Christ. This is the reason many will be called but few are chosen. In a race many will participate but only few will be able to compete and complete the finish line. Not everyone who calls themselves to be Christians will enter into the kingdom of God.

The One who knew no sin became sin for us. Innocent blood of our Lord Jesus Christ was shed for the remission of our sins.
