DISCERNMENT

God expects the pinnacle of His creation, that is the man to know about Him and acknowledge God as the Creator of this Universe. As I mentioned yesterday man because of his sinful nature is unable to recognize how magnificent God is. Because of his blindness, man therefore has gone to various lengths in creating his own god(s) by creating idols, symbols and signs.

Every person born into this world is formed by God. Different people can have different opinions about God. But the truth of the matter is that God is the originator of everything. There’s no explanation otherwise. You see, God choses the foolish of this world and gives them His wisdom to know who God is. King David in Psalm fourteen writes:

Psalm 14:1

The fool has said in his heart,
“There is no God.”

There are nations declaring that there is no God and then there are nations worshipping dead people and idols that cannot speak. Those who are obedient to the word of God, God is willing to share His glory with them. The Word of God teaches that we are to accept the love of God through His Son Jesus Christ. By His grace we are saved through faith.

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.
